Fall 2024 Passport

Bingo board with four columns and four rows. Two to three activities per column are crossed off as completed

For my Fall 2024 PELP Passport, I completed the following:

Club Involvement

  • Attend an interest meeting for a club. I attended the interest meeting for the Campus Programming Board (CPB), and I ended up joining the board. I now help run the weekly karaoke events on campus as well as our trivia nights.
  • Attend an event hosted by a campus club or organization. I went to the Performing Arts Company’s Big Show recital. My favorite piece was choreographed by Hailey Cooke and set to Billie Eilish’s song “Getting Older.”
  • Attend general club meeting. I went to a few general meetings of the fencing club.

UMW Traditions

  • Volunteer at an annual COAR service event. I attended both Into the Streets Day (where I helped run a game booth at the Fredericksburg DisAbility Resource Center Family Fall Festival) as well as the annual Head Start Wrapping Party (where I wrapped boxes in preparation for a holiday drive for families in need).
  • Support a fellow Eagle at the Night Market. I volunteered by helping set up the market space as well as by checking in vendors.

Personal Wellness

  • Create a college budget spreadsheet for yourself. I created a budget for myself for my Flex Dollars and Meal Swipes.
  • Clean your space. I cleaned up my room one weekend when it had been particularly messy.

Experiential Learning

  • Register to vote in Fredericksburg or apply for an absentee ballot. I voted early over Fall Break.
  • Attend an interest meeting for leadership positions within New Student Programming. I attended an interest meeting and applied to be a Peer Mentor.
